The plan and desire of God is to see the lost saved, and get reconciled to Him, and also see their lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, as they encounter Jesus, walking in obedience to God's word, his eternal plan and purpose for their lives. The Lord Jesus said : The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4: 18-19)
God wants you to get involved in the ministry of reconciliation which the Lord Jesus began 2000 years ago. We no longer have time to waste, and no longer have to stay in our comfort zones! Jesus tells us in John 4:35, "Don't you say that there are still four months until the harvest? I tell you, look up and look at the fields that are already turning white for the harvest." Therefore, it is preeminent to go and proclaim the gospel of the kingdom of God, which will usher in the return of Jesus.
